Hi All! We are excited to be a collection site for Georgetown Blue Santa this year! Blue Santa provides toys to underprivileged children annually. Each year, the Georgetown Texas Police Department, its department volunteers, and volunteer individuals and businesses join forces to hold special events or set up donation barrels to collect toys. We have a “barrel” at our Best of Wilco — Keller Williams office. O.k., it is more of a decorated cardboard box, but it will do. Please bring new, unwrapped toys to 7600 W. State Hwy 29, Suite 8, Georgetown, TX 78628 between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. by Dec. 14. Toys will then be sorted into age-appropriate categories and special Christmas boxes will be filled for families who apply for assistance. Blue Santa does not accept donations of clothing, bicycles, toiletries (like cologne or soap), or toy weapons.

Blue Santa is managed by the Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based corporation, governed by a local board of directors and staffed by volunteers. Employees of the Georgetown Police Department, CPAAA board members, and business partners are part of a Blue Santa steering committee that defines strategic elements of the program.
