Wiliamson County Emergency Medical Services will conduct a car seat and booster safety check next Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. You do need to schedule an appointment for this FREE inspection, so please call 512.259.9010 to make arrangements. This safety check is sponsored by Texans In Motion at Scott & White Healthcare, and will take place in the parking lot of Baby Earth located at 106 E. Old Settlers Blvd. in Round Rock.
Also, there will be a limited number of car seats available to families in need. For the inspection, children will need to be with the parent or adult caregiver. Items should be cleared from the vehicle to allow technicians to access the car seats. If the seat is outdated or not meeting child safety seat standards, it may need to be replaced.
