Speaking of – Newland just sent out this announcement: “Liberty Hill ISD elementary school coming to Rancho Sienna A new elementary school could open in Rancho Sienna as early as 2017, now that the Liberty Hill Independent School District has agreed to acquire a 12-acre school site in the community. To be designed for 600 to 800 students, the school will help the highly regarded district keep pace with fast growth in the area, according to LHISD Superintendent Dr. Rob Hart. Located along Via de Sienna Boulevard, the school site is linked to homes in Rancho Sienna by the community’s network of trails and parks. Hart said that when the new school is completed, following voter approval of bonds, it will showcase the district’s “very high architectural standards” and will provide students with the latest hands-on learning technology.”
