With the advent of better media (virtual tours and video tours) and concerns over security, many sellers are opting out of open houses in favor of scheduled agent tours. That said, a recent study shows that some segments of the market still use this tool for finding their next home. Specifically, buyers of new homes, buyers who are couples or married, buyers 65 and over, and buyers whose incomes are between $55,000 and $75,000.
